Eduardo PereyraEduardo is originally from Venezuela. He obtained two Bachelors Degree with Cum Laude honor in Mechanical and Systems Engineering in the University of Los Andes (ULA), Merida-Venezuela, in 2000. He worked in the Research and Development Center of Venezuela’s Oil Company (PDVSA-INTEVEP) from 2000 to 2003. During that time he participated in projects related with multiphase flow in heavy oil systems and reservoir simulation. In May 2006 he receives his Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering at The University of Tulsa. He conducted his thesis research at the Separation Technology Projects of The University of Tulsa (TUSTP), directed by Drs. Ovadia Shoham and Ram Mohan in the are of transient behavior of compact multiphase separators. In summer 2005 and 2006, Eduardo worked as a Research Scientist Intern in Chevron’s Advanced Production Technology / Subsea Technology Unit, located in Houston Texas. During 2006 he worked for Multiphase System Integration (MSI) his duties involved consulting in multiphase transport area, facilities design, and multiphase flow metering systems. In spring 2007, he will start his PhD in petroleum engineering conducting his research at the Separation Technology Projects of The University of Tulsa (TUSTP).
