Nólides GuzmánNolides is a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She has worked as a Professor for 16 years at Universidad Central de Venezuela, teaching Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Chemical Engineering Laboratories. From 1994 to 2001 she worked in Solid- Liquid Separations, specifically in Filtration. From 2001 to 2005 she worked in Foam Flow in GLCC. From 2005 to 2008 she was the Chief of Thermodynamics and Transport Phenomena Department, and has worked in liquid-liquid separation. Dissertation title: “Foam Flow in Gas-Liquid Cylindrical Cyclone (GLCC) Compact Separator”
