Is a Project Specialist at CoSyn Technology a Division of Colt Engineering Corporation in Edmonton Alberta, where he works on Project Engineering in the area of oil sands and oil & gas petrochemical facilities. Since 2005 he has served as a SPE Production and Facilities Technical Editorial Reviewer. He worked as a Multiphase Flow Specialist at Fitech Petroleum Consultants, where he performed multiphase flow analysis to design compacts separators. He worked 14 years at Petroleos de Venezuela SA serving in areas such as Facilities Manager, Facilities Project Engineer and Process Engineer his operational activities included design and operation of surface production facilities and simulation of single and multiphase flow systems. Chirinos holds MS degree from University of Tulsa (1998) and his thesis title was “Liquid Carry-over in Gas-Liquid Cylindrical Cyclone Compact Separators”. He also holds a Specialization in Drilling and Production Operations from Universidad del Zulia (1993). He received his BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico Luis Caballero Mejias (1988) where he was honored (1st rank) for his outstanding academic performance.
